Paintings from the heart by Rana

Jenni works from photographs which she is happy to take herself if she is near to where you live. Otherwise you can email her with photos that you take yourself.
Here are some helpful tips to bear in mind when choosing or taking photographs to send.

1. THE BIGGER THE PRINT THE BETTER. Ideally the same size as the required painting.

2. The best time to photograph a building is either in the late afternoon, or early in the morning when the sun is shining on it.
Take close-ups as well as shots that include the building in it's surroundings.
You are most likely to get an interesting composition if you shoot at a slight angle showing a part of one side of the building as well as the front.
Try to get a shot of the whole building by standing as far back as possible. Then start to walk towards the building taking closer shots, details of brickwork, windows flowers etc.

3. Jenni can take out drainpipes, television aerials and can omit any other undesired objects.
Please state clearly what you want taken out, or wish to be added, for example flowers and shrubs.
For these she will need more photo references.
